Dish/Stock room worker– Casual (Works less than 26 hours a week)

  • Duties: Responsible for cleaning cook equipment and utensils and storing product in the stock area.
  • Qualifications: Dependable individual who is able to work mornings, including Saturdays, lift 60-70 pounds, operate dish machine, and drive cargo van.  Valid drivers license
  • Hours:  5 days a week, including Saturdays, 6AM-11AM

  • Duties:     Oversee food production, tray line and café operations on weekends.  Will cover weekday shifts as needed.  Ensure a safe and sanitary operation. 
  • Qualifications:  Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and some weekday shifts (as needed); two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare facility; working knowledge of tray line and cafeteria; basic cooking knowledge; cash handling; Microsoft Word and Excel; and current Illinois Food Service Sanitation license.

  • Duties: Develop new recipes and conduct product reformulations; research and facilitate the evaluation and selection of externally prepared menu items; and coordinate and oversee taste panels.
  • Qualifications:  A creative, imaginative and enthusiastic individual with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Culinary Arts; two years work experience in food preparation/recipe development; knowledge of nutrition and high volume cooking with a minimum of two years experience with customers in a service-oriented environment; Microsoft Office experience necessary with an intermediate comfort level with Excel.  Position may require local travel.
